What is gummed paper tape?

Also known as water-activated tape, gummed paper tape is usually made from brown Kraft paper and water-activated adhesive. This tape is ideal for sealing corrugated cardboard cartons. When the tape is applied, it bonds with the inner corrugated layer of the carton, creating a tamper-proof seal. It can’t be pushed in with pressure. It literally becomes part of the cardboard carton.
